Personal data is stored to the extent technically necessary. Under no circumstances will the data collected be passed on to third parties without the consent of the data subject.

Following an examination of the legal basis, the following applies to our company:

- There are less than 10 people involved in the "permanent" processing of personal data.
- There are less than 20 people “usually” involved in the processing of personal data.
- Necessary data for customer administration (name, address, email address, etc.) do not contain "sensitive data".
- Sensitive data will only be collected voluntarily with the prior consent of the customer.
- Personal data is not used for the purpose of commercial transmission (e.g. data trade).

There is therefore no need to appoint a controller/data privacy officer.

General information on data processing
Scope of personal data processing:
We process the personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. We process the personal data of our users on a regular basis only with the consent of the user. Exceptions apply in those cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the data processing is permitted by law.

Legal basis for processing of personal data
Insofar as we obtain the consent for data processing of personal data of the data subject, section 6 paragraph 1 lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis. Section 6 paragraph 1 lit. b of the GDPR serves as a legal basis for the processing of personal data required for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party. This also applies to processing operations necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Section 6 paragraph 1 lit. c of the GDPR serves as a legal basis if the processing of personal data is necessary to meet a legal obligation to be fulfilled by our company. Section 6 paragraph 1 lit. d of the GDPR serves as a legal basis if vital interests of the data subject or another natural person necessitate the processing of personal data. Section 6 paragraph 1 lit. f of the GDPR serves as a legal basis if the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third-party and if the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest.

Data deletion and storage duration
The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage may also take place if the European or national legislator has provided for this in Union regulations, laws or other provisions applicable to the person responsible. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless further storage of the data is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract.
